Medicare Rebate Eligibility: To claim a Medicare rebate for Nurse Practitioner services under national regulations, you must attend at least one face-to-face consult with Leigh, initially and within any 12-month period.

If you don’t meet the criteria, you’re welcome to continue as a private fee-paying client.

ADHD & Diagnostic Clarity: Mindscaper does not offer stand-alone ADHD or ASD assessments as a packaged service. Diagnostic clarity, where relevant, emerges naturally through an ongoing clinical relationship - not a single transactional appointment.

Where a formal written report is sought, this is provided at $750 (no medicare rebate), reflecting a genuine synthesis of your lived experience.

Private Health Insurance: Currently, Australian private health funds do not provide rebates for Nurse Practitioner consultations in outpatient settings.

NDIS Funding (Self-Managed & Plan-Managed Only): Mindscaper is a non-registered NDIS provider.

• Billing & Rates: This service is billed strictly as a private session at our standard 40 or 60-minute rate. Depending on your plan, there will likely be an out-of-pocket gap fee that you will need to cover, or you may need to decide if this service is accessible for you.

• Invoicing: An itemised private invoice will be provided at the time of your session for you to claim directly through your portal or forward to your plan manager.

Letters are charged at $65 when prepared with the support of clinical tools that streamline drafting. More complex letters and reports requiring additional time are billed hourly - see fees for current rates.
